The design is to unveil the forgotten culture of boat building in Kuala Terengganu. The proposed visitor center aims to connect the visitors to the process of boat making and create a common ground where a communal experience can be fostered through Terengganu boat making industry. It aims to provide the tourists as well as the locals to experience life, engagement and embrace the traditions.
